About

Julie Forte is the owner of JF Design, LLC, a Hopkinton, Massachusetts space planning and interior design firm. Founded in 2003, JF Design specializes in fine residential and commercial interiors work, and has completed numerous projects, ranging in scope from residential kitchen and bath remodels to commercial office and multi-unit renovations.
Julie began her career working for large architectural firms specializing in residential and commercial design in Boston, Toronto and Providence. During that time, and in the years since as a business owner, she has developed long-standing relationships with an extensive network of craftsmen, contractors and material resource providers, many of whom are brought in on a project by project basis.

Julie has a unique ability to bring order to chaos (important on most design projects!) and to distill a broad range of possibilities into a workable number of clear and well thought out options reflecting the client’s style and needs. Married couples in particular rave about her ability to guide them through the inevitable conflicts that arise during design projects, often referring to her as a, “part time couples therapist.”

Julie is affiliated with Rhode Island College, and is invited to present annually to their senior design students. She has a Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Drexel University in Philadelphia and is a longstanding professional member of the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID).

In her free time, Julie enjoys cooking, entertaining in her home, and spending time with her husband and two grown children.
